Upon retiring from the bench in 2019, Judge Mary Pat Gunderson wrote an article about her experiences with implicit gender bias in judicial opinions, which was published in the Georgetown Journal of Gender and the Law. Hoping to create systemic change in the way state’s handle attorney ethics cases, she spoke on the topic to various groups, including the Utah Supreme Court, Iowa Supreme Court and National Association of Women Judges. She also spoke at the Idaho Women Lawyers annual conference in 2023. She is now in the process of producing a documentary called “In Sheep’s Clothing.”

In Sheep’s Clothing aims to expose the dark underbelly of the American judicial system, laying bare decades of corruption, systemic cover-ups, and webs of deceit, all perpetrated under a veil of silence, until now. Please see the following links for their website and sizzle reel.
