Where: Veteran’s Memorial Park, Shelter Area
True to IWL’s mission of advancing diversity by promoting equal rights and opportunities for women in the legal profession, the Wassmuth Education Center envisions an inclusive society where Idahoans take responsibility for promoting and protecting human rights, where everyone is valued and treated with equal dignity and respect, and where everyone’s human rights are a lived reality.
For over two decades, the Wassmuth Center for Human Rights has proudly served Idaho educators and students, and the scope of their programming, resources, and services has grown dramatically. They find themselves exploring new ways to serve Idaho’s classrooms and communities better — and to meet that demand — the resources, technology, and facilities must evolve too. The Center is looking forward to bringing all aspects of daily operation and programming into one comprehensive education center.
The New Wassmuth Center for Human Rights Education Center will be a one-of-a-kind human rights educational center within a one-of-a-kind human rights memorial.

IWL’s fundraising kickoff event will feature two of RBG’s favorite things to celebrate with – cupcakes and prosecco! We will have IWL wine tumblers for all attendees to take home with them. The Veteran’s Memorial Park shelters are located to the east of the playground. The parking lot is accessible from Veteran’s Memorial Parkway.
Prosecco toast will be held at 11am sharp! Kids are welcome to attend.
