On April 1, 2020, the new federal Families First Coronavirus Response Act (FFCRA) took effect, immediately changing the landscape of employment leaves for public employers and for private employers with 500 or less employees. FFCRA offers eligible employees who are unable to work or telework due to COVID-19 up to two weeks paid sick leave and up to 12 weeks FMLA leave (with 10 weeks paid) to care for children who are at home due to school or daycare closures.

Join us for a lunch and learn webinar presented by attorneys Pam Howland of Idaho Employment Lawyers and Emily Mac Master, for a discussion of FFCRA including requirements of the new leave laws and best practices for employers. Please register before May 13, 2020 in order to receive information for accessing the webinar.
