Please join Idaho Women Lawyers at our annual Circuit Training focusing on "The Future of Law"! The Circuit Training involves small groups rotating through each of the speakers to get hands-on training and discussion regarding how artificial intelligence is affecting the legal profession and how providing mentoring to young lawyers can affect the future of the profession in Idaho.
Topics and Speakers include:
1. "Dispelling Common Myths About Artificial Intelligence," Nick Smith, University of Idaho College of Law
2. "Mentoring Future Lawyers," Teresa Baker, Idaho State Bar
3. "Discrimination and Implicit Bias in Artificial Intelligence," Ritchie Eppink, Wrest Legal Collective.
Please keep an eye out for additional topic and speaker announcements coming soon! Charcuterie and wine will be provided. Registration is capped at 50 people so register now to save your spot! We are also exploring the possibility of providing a remote option (along with a happy hour event) for those who can't make it to Boise for the training. *UPDATE* Scholarship Opportunity: For those members located outside of Boise that wish to attend, we are offering five (5) scholarships which will consist of a reimbursement up to $400 to cover one (1) night stay at a hotel for the night of the event.
